The Plunge (1st Gen)

From purchase to installation, we have had a great experience. My main concerns when researching were Quality, reliability, and aesthetic. We set up our Plunge about two months ago and are very happy. The cleaning is particularly easy. Something I wasn’t really thinking about when researching, but has proven to be very valuable. The quality is very good and it has just enough engineering. Over complicating a product can be just as bad as not, including enough features. Cover is great quality as well. We love it! If I am being very critical, the only feedback would be that it would be cool to offer custom wraps. So, for example, I could order a plunge with a jungle theme or water theme.

Love it glad I made the choice to go with the Plunge. It’s been rejuvenating. Two issues one the video directions were different from the booklet.

Second the gaskets were not attached too hoses or together in box. Didn’t know what one was since that’s all I found to the tub .Water out poured. My wife found the other gasket in box. After that problem solved.Over all satisfied and excited to see the benefits .Oh I wanted to suggest some type of grip for feet to keep stability in positioning body .

I’ve been back-and-forth about making the jump and spending the money for a good quality plunge set up, and I’ve had my eye on the plunge tub for quite a while now. I suffered a sudden cardiac arrest 14 years ago and have heart problems to include a pacemaker and ICD, experiencing arrhythmias deriving from overheating and dehydration forcing me to retire from being a police officer and SWAT Sniper. My specific situation made cold plunging more attractive to me as I’ve studied the cardiovascular and heart health benefits, among several other things… I hop in first thing in the morning before I do anything and the last thing I do before I go to bed … I will throw in a dip or two during the day depending on how hot the sun is or what I’m doing and if I need to cool off quickly. I watch my heart rate very closely during the day and watch the noticeable drop while I’m submerged in the cold water, which is just what I was looking for. Overall my blood pressure is down as well which I can only attribute to the cold water as it’s only getting hotter day by day in the summer here in Florida. The self cleaning capabilities of the plunge along with the ozone System built into it we’re absolutely selling points for me as I was looking for something low maintenance, and I’m happy to say they work extremely well. The water is crystal clear still and I’ve used no chemicals in it.
