Is the plunge infrared sauna indoor or outdoor?

Plunge Infrared is indoor only. If you’re building an outdoor sauna setup, Plunge Traditional Sauna is the better fit.

What’s the difference between Standard and Pro?

Both deliver the same full-spectrum infrared experience — the difference comes down to heat, speed, and power. Standard reaches up to 160°F and runs on a common 120V outlet, making it the easy-install choice for most homes. Pro climbs to 175°F, heats up faster, runs on 240V, and can add the optional red light therapy panel. Want maximum heat and red light? Go Pro. Want the simplest setup? Standard is your sauna.

Is infrared as effective as a traditional sauna?

Yes — it just works differently. A traditional sauna heats the air around you; infrared uses light to warm your body more directly. The result is a deep, satisfying sweat at lower room temperatures, which makes infrared especially comfortable and practical for indoor home use.

What is the red light therapy panel?

An optional upgrade on the Pro model, built right into the sauna door. It delivers seven therapeutic wavelengths of red and near-infrared light (480, 630, 660, 810, 830, 850, and 1060 nm) and is engineered to perform in high heat — so you get red light and infrared in a single session.

Can the red light panel be used outside the sauna?

Yes. The panel lifts out of the sauna door and works as a standalone red light therapy device. It comes with a door-hanging hook for easy use anywhere in your home, and you can add an optional floor stand if you'd rather set it up freestanding. So you get red light during your sauna sessions — and targeted therapy on its own, whenever you want it.

Does it have Bluetooth speakers?

Yes. Premium Nakamichi Bluetooth speakers come built in, engineered to handle the heat. Pair your phone and fill the cabin with your favorite playlist, podcast, or guided session.
