Plunge Pod + The Sauna Mini Bundle

So i am one of those that does a ton of research before I make a major purchase. I looked at every cold plunge that was out on the market and read every review and reddit board before finally deciding on my purchase. I also am a believer of making sure I get quality even if it costs a few more dollars.

Let me also make clear that I had never did contrast therapy or cold plunged until I visited a Sweathouz a few months ago. I thought I would see what all the hype was about and convinced my wife to join me for a introductory session. Neither one of us are fans of cold temps let alone cold water mind you but we thought we would man up and give it a try. The Swthz that we went to has the all-in one plunge. After the initial shock of sitting in the plunge - when you mind says GET OUT - the breathing kicked in and it became tolerable. Once we got out however, the adrenaline rush and the mood change was significant. Enough so that we decided to book our next session for a few days later. 4 sessions later it was decided that we would build our own contrast therapy studio in our garage.

After significant research on my different brands, I utlimately decided Plunge would be the most reliable and most professional setup for my needs. The next question was whether to get the Tub model or the pod style. Space ultimately made the decision for me as the tub would have been just a bit to big and the Pod would fit perfectly in the designated area I had for it. I was concerned…

Bought the cold plunge last year and now have the sauna mini.

The plunge has provided fabulous arthritic relief for my hands, feet and knees. Eliminating minor inflammation has done the trick! Over the 1st year of use, I’ve did 260 plunges averaging 50 deg for 5 minutes.

We’ve had the sauna a month. It took about 7 sessions to get the right temperature/steam to break a great sweat and get the water weight off.

Well worth the investment!!

This is the perfect sauna for our needs. It gets plenty hot, produces intense steam with the large amount of stones, and provides an unobstructed view of our waterfront. I couldn't believe how fast it arrived in NC via freight. I think it was only about four days after ordering! Assembling it was easy, despite a few issues with the instructions.

I had to reach out to support for two initial issues. First, our sauna only came with three boxes of stones, but four are necessary to fill the HUUM heater. Second, the lights and fan weren't working. I reached out to support and was disappointed that it took several days to receive a reply (post Black Friday rush). However, once I finally got someone, she quickly shipped my box of stones with no additional back-and-forth. She then walked me through troubleshooting the lights/fan. I'm not sure what changed, but when I took the panel off the electrical box to take pictures, it worked when I put it back on.

I love being able to monitor the temperature and turn it on from my phone.

We have no regrets. This was an excellent purchase to complete our wellness area, which includes an Odin cold plunge (we will likely be adding a Plunge Universal Chiller to replace the one that came with it) and an outdoor shower.
