I love the idea of a pop-up and go ice Plunge. The price of it is perfect for someone who works paycheck to paycheck and cannot pay for the extra chiller or the more extensive models. The build is very sturdy and at 6’ & 240lbs, I sit down in it with ease and plenty of room. I like the cover that comes with it and the drain spout for a hose attachment. I bought the extra ice trays to go with it. I froze 9 - 5lb ice blocks and added it to the pool. Unfortunately, I could not get the pool cooler than 75 degrees. I love the ice blocks but 9 literally took up all my extra space in my freezer and deep freezer. I tried doing this for a week straight and could not get below 70 degrees. I’m sure if I run out and buy enough bags of ice I could but that would defeat the purpose of this and hurt the wallet. Without being able to get the temperature down cold enough, it unfortunately is nothing more than a soaking tub. While they do offer the chiller, it is not some price effective for someone who works paycheck to paycheck. I wanted this to work but it just is not feasible without dropping the extra on a chiller.

The pop up was very easy to setup and use. I love that this provides a low barrier of entry for those of us wanting to treat the waters of cold plunging before making a big investment. I was instantly hooked and decided to upgrade, so I love that Plunge also gives you a credit to use towards an upgrade when you purchase the pop up model. Now I can't wait for the chiller to get here so I'll have consistent temperatures with no ice needed. A nice bonus, this pop up actually fit inside of my garden style bathtub which was great for indoor use!

Received my pop-up Ice Barrel with the Evolve Pro Chiller last week. Set-up was very simple and took less than 15 minutes. The Pro Chiller is very efficient and dropped the temperature from the high 50's to 48°F within an hours time. I try and use it every morning as it relieves muscle tension, calms my mind and invigorates me.
